The company began in 1921 as Dorfman Hat & Cap Company in a 5,000 square foot facility in Oakland, California. They recently celebrated their 95th year in business at their 275,000 square foot facility in Stockton, California.  However, our straw hats we produce with Dorfman Pacific are produced in a jointly owned factory in Mexico.
